The first way is to be listed in your favorite search engines. There are three steps to do this: Submit your Web address directly to the search engine for free. Get someone already listed to link to your site. Pay to have your site listed on one or more search engines. Which you do depends entirely on the search engine you're targeting. Obviously, the free option appeals to most people. To submit a site to Google, fill out the simple form at www.google.com/addurl. Like below.
URL: Type your website address like http://www.yoursite.com
Comments: Your comments type here.
Type captcha code and then click Add URL button.
2. To submit your site to Yahoo! Go to http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit you’ll need a yahoo account for that. If you don’t have a yahoo account, please create one.
Enter the URL for the website or webpage you would like to submit. Then click Submit URL button. Ok your website will be listed in yahoo.
3. To submit your website in MSN go to http://www.bing.com/webmaster/SubmitSitePage.aspx and fill out the form like previous system.
After submitting your website to the major Search Engines only takes a few minutes to take well worth the effort.
